Tucker, Georgia

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."  (Rom 1:16)

People's Baptist Church

Tucker's Friendly Community Church

People's Baptist Church was organized in 1975 when the original members saw a need for a fundamental, independent Baptist church in the Tucker, Georgia area.  The current building was built in 1976, and has been used ever since.  People's has just elected only its third pastor, Rev. David Bentley. The first two pastors were Rev. Cecil Smith, the founding pastor, and Rev. Vern Coolidge, his successor.

We believe that the Holy Bible is God's inspired word, and is inerrant in the original.  We believe that the King James Version of the scriptures provide the best English translation from the original texts.  We believe in salvation by grace alone, and in the priesthood of the believer.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and is very God himself.  We believe that all men are sinners and in need of a redeemer.  We believe that God loves all men, and welcome all regardless of race, creed, or color.

Come and worship with us!
